A new partner in Canada: HEC Montréal
30 Apr 2008Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School and St. Gallen University in Switzerland proudly present a new partner for their MBA in Financial Services and Insurance (MBA-FSI): HEC Montréal (Canada’s first business school).
HEC Montréal - with its highly regarded research and teaching in banking - is rated as one of the 10 best MBA programmes outside the US. The Canadian partner will attract new participants primarily from North and South America.
The MBA-FSI programme was first launched in 1999, at the time that new financial groups with substantial banking and insurance activities were also emerging. The strength of this programme lies in its unique combination of general MBA content with a focus on the financial services industry.
The programme contains of 6 residential modules of 2 weeks each, spread over 18 months. The participants get the opportunity to study in six different countries (Belgium, Switzerland, Canada, China, UK and US), live in six different cultures, and learn from a large variety of international faculty members and business speakers.
Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School is becoming more international every year. In addition to the two campuses in Ghent and Leuven, the School has added a third campus in St. Petersburg, Russia. There is also a joint chair with Stellenbosch University in South Africa, and two MBA partnerships with the University of Bejing and the University of Amsterdam.
