Professor Philippe Haspeslagh: Dean of Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School

Philippe Haspeslagh has started his first academic year last month as Dean of the school. During his Opening Speech he expressed the following view:

"No academic business school will stay a relevant learning partner without a global mindset, a focus on the key management challenges of today's world and an entrepreneurial and customer-focused culture."

He is an alumnus of both the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, where he graduated as a Commercial Engineer in 1972 and Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School where he graduated in 1973. He holds an MBA summa cum laude and a doctorate from Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar. He recently obtained an executive diploma in clinical psychology at INSEAD.
