Hedwig De Meyer (Stageco) wins the Vlerick Award 2012

Hedwig De Meyer, Founder of Stageco, has won the Vlerick Award 2012. The audience chose him, because he lead his company with sustained results to the world top in the entertainment sector.

Started in his youth club in Werchter, organizing youth parties, Hedwig De Meyer now creates stages all over the world to fulfill the wildest dreams of the biggest names in music entertainment,. His passion for the customer is legendary, never saying “no” to their dreams. Combined with an outstanding technical realization from his team of talented and hardworking collaborators, he is since more than 30 years, the preferred partner for groups like Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones, and more recently Coldplay, Lady Gaga, Madonna and U2.

The other nominees were: Ivo Marechal (H.Essers), Chris Van Doorslaer (Cartamundi) and Wilfried Vancraen (Materialise).

Almost 500 alumni, former winners & nominees and VIPs attended the 12th Vlerick Award that took place on Tuesday May 22nd in The Egg in Brussels.
