New Vlerick brand shortlisted at the 2013 Transform Awards

Our new identity has been shortlisted for two categories at the prestigious 2013 Transform Awards: ‘Best corporate rebrand to reflect changed mission/values/positioning’ where we are up against 4 other competitors; and ‘Best rebrand from Western Europe’ where we are up against one other competitor.

Now in its fourth year, the Transform Awards is Europe’s only dedicated celebration of excellence in rebranding, repositioning and brand transformation. The awards recognise best practices in corporate, product, regional and national rebrands, with categories that focus on strategy, execution, content and evaluation. More than that, it is a platform for organisations to tell their rebranding stories and to discuss reputational change.

The Transform Awards are a key opportunity to showcase exciting rebranding stories that bear witness to the startling results that can be achieved by transforming your identity. This year saw a big increase in the number of entries since the origin of the awards in 2010 and they were of a notably high calibre.

John Stanley, Design Director at brand consulting firm Landor Associates, who created the new Vlerick brand: “We at Landor have a very high regard for the Transform Awards and consider it an increasingly important and high profile competition in our industry. I am very proud and happy that we've been shortlisted, as that alone is a major achievement. It's recognition from the industry of the distinctiveness and quality of the Vlerick rebranding work.”

The winners will be revealed at a ceremony dinner on 19 March in London. All shortlisted companies receive either gold, silver or bronze trophies or highly commended certificates.

In addition to our nomination for the Transform Awards, Vlerick has also entered two other important and established design competitions, being the D&AD Professional Awards, celebrating creative excellence in design and advertising, and the Design Week Awards, a stage for the most outstanding work across all design disciplines.
