Partnership between NRC Carrière and Vlerick Business School
One-Day Academy on 28 November 2014 for graduate professionals
Vlerick Business School is organising the ‘Vlerick Business Academy’ in partnership with NRC Carrière on 28 November this year, specifically for senior professionals. This one-day academy is an opportunity for managers and professionals in the Netherlands to become acquainted with Vlerick as an internationally renowned training institution in Belgium. The event will also be the first concrete manifestation of the partnership between Vlerick and NRC Carrière.
“In authoritative rankings, Vlerick Business School has been the undisputed number one for management training in the Benelux region for years. However, we are still not very well known in the Netherlands,” says Patrick De Greve, General Director of Vlerick Business School. “That is something we wanted to change, so we have been looking for a media partner that would also offer added value in terms of content. NRC Carrière is a strong brand on the Dutch job market with a wide readership among graduate managers. That makes it the ideal match for us.”

The one-day ‘Vlerick Business Academy – powered by NRC Carrière’ is targeted at all professional people aiming to look ahead and stay ahead. The short training course is intended to give participants an overall insight into how they can best prepare, as professionals, for a crucial role in the organisations of the future. Participants will set their own agenda, choosing sessions from a menu of five relevant topics and current trends (including leadership, strategy implementation, finance, digital strategy and job crafting). This is a unique but tried-and-tested concept: more than 1000 senior professionals in Belgium have already attended a Business Academy, with an average satisfaction score of 4.3 out of 5. The event will be held at the Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky in Amsterdam. It will be followed by a networking dinner at the NRC Restaurant Café on the Rokin quayside.
