Vlerick alumnus Paul Bulcke receives 5th VMA Award

The Management Association (VMA) – for 25 years now, the preeminent national and regional network for top and middle management – has bestowed the 5th vMA Award on Paul Bulcke, CEO of Nestlé and alumnus of Vlerick Business School. This award is in recognition of his life-long career, which has been distinguished by sustained integrity, exceptional management capacity and inspiring leadership. Following Vlerick alumnus and director Luk De Bruyckere, Paul Bulcke is the second Vlerick alumnus to receive this honour.

In his acceptance speech, Paul Bulcke summarised his job as CEO as follows: “You have to lead things in the right direction, put the right person in the right position, and make sure the organisation’s values are lived up to explicitly.

    Vlerick Alumni is delighted to announce that Thomas Vandormael has joined the team as General Manager. Thomas will be responsible for the strategic and operational execution of the Alumni Association’s goals. His responsibilities will include managing the relationships with the Vlerick alumni chapters and corporate partners, while increasing the global presence of the organisation.
