Vlerick and FEIB team up to create the largest CFO organisation in Belgium

Vlerick Business School and the Financial Executive Institute of Belgium (FEIB) have decided to join forces, resulting in the Vlerick-FEIB CFO Club, the largest CFO organisation in Belgium.

This new organisation unites the best of both worlds. Since its foundation more than 7 years ago the Vlerick CFO Club brings together CFOs from leading companies with top speakers from the academic, political and business world. On the other hand, since March 1971 the FEIB has succeeded in creating and maintaining a community of senior finance professionals.

Professor Filip Roodhooft, president of the Vlerick CFO Club: “Today, thanks to the partnership between Vlerick Business School‘s CFO Club, and FEIB, a unique opportunity is created to reach a critical mass and to develop a new platform where CFOs can exchange experience, develop new ideas and establish a high level network of peers.”

The new partnership aims to pool the respective resources and to jointly conduct an ambitious programme of activities including exclusive lectures and debates with leaders of the business, academic and political world. Together, the FEIB and Vlerick Business School target two key missions: exclusive networking at executive level on the one hand and information and representation of the Belgian CFO community on the other hand. Premium membership of the Vlerick-FEIB CFO Club – including exclusive events – is intended for CFOs of large and important organisations and businesses only.
