1. From Brussels International Airport (Zaventem)

Either train or taxi will take you directly from Brussels Airport to Ghent.  We recommend the train, as taxis are rather expensive. From Brussels Airport, you take a direct train to “Gent Sint-Pieters” station. This takes about one hour. A one-way train ticket costs about 7.50 euro.

CAR PARK ‘REEP’ TEMPORARILY CLOSED

From 20 March until 2 April 2017 the car park ‘Reep’ will be temporarily closed. Since the Seminariestraat (that accesses the car park) will change direction due to the new Ghent Mobility Plan, construction works are needed to switch the entrance and exit of the car park. During this 2-week period of time it will not be possible to park your car here. We advise you to use the car park ‘Zuid’ instead. As from 3 April the car park ‘Reep’ will be accessible again.

NEW TRAFFIC SITUATION – AS FROM 3 APRIL 2017

As from 3 April 2017 the city of Ghent will implement the so-called Mobility Plan. With this plan Ghent wants to keep the city centre both liveable as well as easily accessible, striving for a more sustainable mobility. Therefore the city centre will be divided into 6 sectors each with their own colour. Certain streets will change direction or will be become pedestrian zones.

Our Ghent campus and the nearest car park ‘Reep’ in the Seminariestraat are both situated in the light green sector. Coming from the highway you need to follow the directions for Sector 2 ‘Portus Ganda’. As the Seminariestraat changes direction, the ‘Reep’ car park can only be entered via the Reep.
