The Ghent Campus of Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School features the following facilities:

Lecture & meeting rooms

  • 6 lecture theatres
    4 of which can be combined to 2 larger lecture halls
    There are 2 auditoria for 65 students and 4 for 35 to 40 students.
    The latter can be combined into 2 auditoria of 70 to 80 students.
  • 6 meeting rooms
    varying in size from 8 seats to 22
    Two meeting rooms of 16 people each can be combined to form a small teaching room for smaller programmes. One of the rooms is a more luxurious executive meeting room.
  • 31 discussion rooms
    2x4 of these rooms are subdivisions of a larger room and can be transformed into 1 multifunctional room. They are located all over the building in small groups.
  • 2 lounges & a small meeting room
    With comfortable seats, for informal contacts with special guests of the School.

Meeting & refreshment

  • Restaurant with 150 seats + catering services provided
    The restaurant is divided into an executive section and a student/employee section. The division is made in a flexible manner, sections can vary according to the amount of visitors.
  • Large refreshment room
    There is also a bar, the Inbev Lounge,  in order to create leisure possibilities and contacts after work hours or courses. This refreshment room can be enlarged, thus creating a large open space, suitable for events like receptions, job days, openings etc.
  • Several meeting points
    These are smaller refreshment rooms located at every floor, close to the auditoria, PC room and meeting rooms. Here students can meet informally before and after classes.
  • Entrance atrium
    The first open space when you enter the building, where communication and meeting are the keywords.
  • Garden atrium
    A more enclosed garden where silence, concentration and reflection are important.

Information & study

  • Large PC room for 65 people
    This can also be used as an auditorium. The auditorium part, suited for 35 students, can be acoustically separated from the PC room part, where 30 people can be seated.
  • Library
    This is in fact the authentic former library of the Groot Seminarie
    Next to the library there is to be a study room, where students and researchers can work in silence using library material.
  • Observation room
    A meeting room equipped with a one-way-mirror and multimedia facilities. This room will be used for research purposes.

  • Archive divided into sections for each department
  • IT & Operations Helpdesk loft
    This is the centralised helpdesk at the top level of the front office (auditoria, PC-rooms, meeting rooms, ...) where IT and Operations service their customers.
