Immersed in the strategy making in rapidly changing environments? Refresh your knowledges and learn about recent decision making tools.
Dear Vlerick Alumni, Students and Friends,
Our Christmas Alumni Friday will be held on December 16th at 6:30 PM at the Corinthia Hotel St Petersburg (Nevsky Prospect, 57).
This time main topic will be "Strategic scenario planning".
In a context of increasing globalisation, fast developments in ICT and heightened customers’ expectations, uncertainties about the evolution of firms’ environment are a major challenge for executives faced with strategic decisions. But uncertainties can also turn into opportunities for those prepared to grasp them. Professor Carine Peeters will tell you how to do that using the technique of scenario planning. Professor Carine Peters will focus on:
- Why scenario planning? From predicting to preparing for the future.
- What are strategic scenarios? Depiction of a range of possible futures.
- The 5-steps process of scenario planning and its applications.
