Global reward professionals are living and working in a challenging business context. Besides their ‘engineering’ role, they also have to be aware of evolutions in both the external and internal business context and its implications for reward management (i.e. their strategic role). In this webinar, and based on input from global reward management professionals, we will deal with a number of key issues.
First of all, we will ask ourselves whether we perhaps focus too heavily on the financial rewards, while it could be better to use nonfinancial rewards to differentiate. We will focus on what exactly nonfinancial rewards mean and exchange experience and examples of nonfinancial rewards.
Secondly, we will focus on a ‘golden oldie’, being pay-for-performance (P4P), and we will provide the participants with some rules-of-thumb and good practices in order to make P4P work for your organisation.
Thirdly, we will deal with a frequently forgotten dimension of reward management, which is reward governance. In this respect, we will pay specific attention to the relationship between the global and local levels as far as decision-making on rewarding (and its structures) are concerned.
