“As an academic management school, research is central to the mission of the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School” says prof. dr. Filip Roodhooft, Research dean. “Our faculty members and researchers are active in a wide range of research initiatives, often in collaboration with our associated universities, the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and Ghent University”.
Various research initiatives result in academic publications, management cases, and handbooks that add to the School’s reputation within the academic community and among its stakeholders.
The School is conducting research that has a strong academic foundation while being validated and translated into business practice by business leaders. Investing over 6 million Euros in new research initiatives, helps us to stay ahead of changing trends in management issues and to ensure we are addressing the critical issues facing the business world today.
