The Vlerick Centre for Financial Services groups all the programmes, research and know how that have been developed in the area of financial services management within the school over the last 15 years. The Vlerick Centre for Financial Services will be located in Brussels to be closer to the financial industry and to be in the heart of Europe.

The mission is to:

  • Contribute to a better understanding of the position, challenges and opportunities of the financial services industry in the new global environment
  • Support the Belgian and European financial services industry through education and research partnerships
  • Ensure a pipeline of talent to the Financial Services Industry
  • Support the Belgian Centres of Excellence in Financial Services and help them capitalize on proactive adoption of European regulations
  • Contribute to re-establishing the credibility of the Financial Services Sector
