The situation in the labour market and the employment policy influence - and are influenced by - a company's HRM. Through labour market research, we have developed expertise in competence development, the training market, careers and career guidance, the delineation of a labour market conscious personnel policy, older employees, outplacement, and the personnel policy in restructurings. In that context, Vlerick is also co-promotor of the Centre for Work and Social Economy, financed by the Flemish government.
