Business strategy

Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School’s strategic management expertise concentrates on two main areas: competitive strategy and corporate strategy.

With regard to competitive strategy (or business unit strategy), we explore what makes the difference between companies that perform well and companies that do not. We have developed our own frameworks in this area to look at strategy formulation and strategy implementation.

With regard to corporate strategy, we focus on the synergy debate that accompanies mergers and acquisitions.
