Services Ghent campus

The library is accessible to everyone. However, you must register with the library to borrow materials.

Borrowing

You may borrow up to 4 books at a time. The loan period for books is 3 weeks. (The expiry date appears on the receipt issued at the time of borrowing.) You may extend the loan period twice, unless the book(s) has been reserved in the meantime. Loan extensions can be done by telephone (+32 9 210 97 27) or e-mail.

Note that reference works, journals, newspapers and working papers are not available for loan.

Reservation

Anyone wishing to obtain a book(s) that is currently on loan may reserve it. This can be done by telephone (+32 9 210 97 27) or e-mail. You will be notified as soon as the book(s) is available to you.

Inter-Library Loan service

If we do not have a publication in our collection, Vlerick students may request it through our Inter-Library Loan service.

Requests can be made at the library desk by completing a form. You will be notified when the requested publication(s) is available for collection at the library desk. The administrative fee (varying from €5 to €15) is to be paid upon receipt of the article/book.

Making photocopies

There is one copier available for copying materials stored in the library. It is your responsibility to abide by the copyright laws. Photocopies cost €0.04 per copy. 

Pen drives

Pen drives can be bought at the reception desk at €12 each.
