Special Dossier: Innovative and creative entrepreneurship

19 Mar 2008

Whereas managers are spoilt for choice when it comes to the training programmes available to them and big business can usually rely on plenty of media coverage, entrepreneurs are sometimes left out in the cold. Wrongly, as it happens, seeing as they are the ones who are busy creating new companies.

In a global economy where competition is fierce, having an idea is simply not enough, however. The idea must be highly creative and sufficiently innovative if it is to be viable.

This dossier explores entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity from different angles. Experts from Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School explain how these themes are integrated into the School’s training and research in order to make a real contribution to entrepreneurship. We also put the spotlight on the business world: how do companies incorporate entrepreneurship and innovation into their strategy?
