Christmas charity donation 2005
Each year, Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School and the Vlerick Leuven Gent Alumni Association send thousands of Christmas cards to their friends and clients in a sincere desire to wish them seasons greetings and a prosperous new year.
This year, the School and its Alumni Association have decided that the money usually allocated to cards and postage would be better spent through a donation to charity.
So, we are using an electronic greeting card, and have made a contribution of 7,500 euro to the Xidas project in India, in place of paper and postage. More specifically, this contribution will go to the purchase of a new jeep for the Bargi Dam exploration and development projects.
Our Best Wishes of the Season and for the New Year are nonetheless with you, and you can have the additional satisfaction in knowing that your "card" is helping provide joy and comfort to those who need it most.
