Permanent Housing

Upon your arrival in Belgium, you will receive an excel sheet with housing information within your student city. This sheet contains housing information we received from previous students.

You will see that there are a lot of rooms/apartments/studios available (orange forms: TE HUUR) in each student city. Just call to the phone number indicated on the form and arrange a meeting with the landlords in order to visit the available accommodation.

In the meantime, feel free to already consult the webpages mentioned below.

In order to find a permanent place to stay in Ghent, you can take a look at the following websites:

http://www.immoweb.be (English)
www.kotatgent.be (all languages)

More information on housing in Ghent can be found on: http://www.ugent.be/en/facilities/housing

For our Leuven Campus, we have arranged with the K.U. Leuven to share housing services. The K.U. Leuven housing service (add link http://www.kuleuven.be/studentenvoorzieningen/accommodation/) maintains information about rooms, apartments and other forms of housing that are available in the Leuven area. The service also acts as intermediary between the student-tenant and the owner-landlord. They also provide information on deposits, contracts, taxes, etc.

Feel free to consult the following webpages as well:
