Campus Info

Our campus can be found in a beautifully renovated, historic building in the very heart of Leuven. As with all our campuses, our Leuven campus offers fully equipped, U-shaped classrooms to ensure maximum interaction, several break-out rooms and all the latest IT and computer facilities. As a Vlerick student, you also have access to all libraries, restaurants, sports facilities and housing services at KULeuven.

City sights

Ancient churches, chapels and abbeys are landmarks in this vibrant medieval university city just 20 km east of Brussels. Founded in 1475, Vlerick’s parent university, KULeuven has also given rise to an extraordinarily high concentration of specialised knowledge centres and other spin-offs. Add to that Leuven’s role as a major commercial, industrial and administrative centre and it is easy to see why this small but vibrant city is a popular destination.

Settling in

Most students studying in Belgium rent a private room for the whole academic year. The best time of year to start looking for housing is July-August. We advise you to come two weeks prior to the start of classes at the latest, as you will need time to adjust and find your way around in Leuven.

The best way to look for a room or apartment is simply by walking around the vicinity of the school, looking for orange signs saying ‘te huur’ (= for rent) The price for a studio/apartment ranges between 300 and 450euro per month. You can also try these links to find a place:
