Prof Dr Omar A. El Sawy is professor in Information Systems at the USC Marshall School of Business, USA. He obtained his PhD from Stanford University and is the author of the book Redesigning Enterprise Processes for e-Business. He specialises in digital business strategy in turbulent environments, and digital business models. He was the very first to research and report on the concept of Business-IT Fusion, a concept that later found ground in many other articles and books. Omar also serves on several journal editorial boards, is a Senior Editor of MIS Quarterly Executive, and is a six-time winner of the Society for Information Management’s Paper Awards Competition. |
