Company-Specific Programmes
In the case of a company-specific programme, the School will develop, on request, a training programme that is tailored to the company’s individual requirements. Possible topics in Innovation Management include:
- Raising awareness of innovation: this programme is especially suitable for participants and companies where innovation and intrapreneurship are not self-evident. It helps to create awareness and develop the basic knowledge about innovation management throughout the organisation.
- Designing and managing your organisation for innovative performance: this programme focusses on designing and implementing innovation strategies. When a company’s innovative interest is aroused, this dynamism must also be managed and made an integral part of the organisation.
- Turning your innovative ideas into businesses: the focus in these programmes is on the step-by-step transformation of an idea into a marketable product or service, and a critical analysis of the commercial feasibility of plans. Entrepreunial Innovation Boot Camps offer a good solution to turn innovative ideas into concrete and mature business propositions. An Entrepreneurial Innovation Boot Camp usually consists of three two-day residential workshops, each three weeks apart, during which participants are coached in looking at their ideas as any investor would. The programme uses a mixture of readily applicable theory, tailored to the company’s context, coaching and group sessions. During the Boot Camp participants fine-tune their ideas into solid business opportunity proposals to be presented to a jury of the company’s senior management and Vlerick staff. The ultimate reward: the go-ahead to incubate the proposed venture.
