Innovation is at the top of corporate agendas. Yet, innovation remains a
challenge. Companies struggle to remain leaders in their markets, often ceding
leadership to industry outsiders. It’s often difficult to find the right balance
between entrepreneurial and corporate approaches to innovation.
The Executive Master Class in Innovation & Entrepreneurship
(EMCIE) turns participants into Innovation Champions – capable of
converting inventions into successful businesses and designing and managing
their organisations for innovative performance.

Programme
The Executive Master Class in Innovation & Entrepreneurship is an
intensive, part-time, modular programme organised around two consecutive
tracks:
Track 1 - Entrepreneurial Innovation: following an extended
version of our proven Vlerick Entrepreneurial Boot Camp approach, participants
leave the Entrepreneurial Innovation Track with the skills necessary to defend
an innovative, possibly technology-based, idea before a critical investor
audience – skills that should be mastered by entrepreneurs and corporate
intrapreneurs alike.
Track 2 - Corporate Innovation Management: the
Corporate Innovation Management Track trains participants in state-of-the-art
corporate innovation methods, Intellectual Property (IP) management and
organisational designs for innovation. Participants will also leave with a clear
understanding of the climate and culture conducive to innovation, and they’ll be
able to lead their business units through game-changing business model
transformations.
You can start the programme on 20 March 2012 (starting with track 2) and
complete in January 2013, or on 16 October 2012 (starting with track 1) and
complete in June 2013. Both tracks can also be taken separately.
