Price is what you pay, value is what you get
|
This programme offers a general frame of reference for valuing companies and major projects. You will get a complete overview of both classic and recently developed valuation methods. The programme demonstrates how a company's profit, cash flow, growth and financial policy influence its value. |
You will gain fundamental insights into the most salient drivers behind company valuation: cash flow, growth and risk. Moreover you will be able to accurately assess the value of a corporate opportunity, a core capability when it comes to optimising capital budgeting within a company as well as in the case of mergers and acquisitions.
This programme has been especially designed for financial professionals that wish to grow their knowledge and skills in company valuation, such as managers and consultants working in M&A, Corporate Finance and investment analysis.
Vlerick connects theory to practice, and back again. Theoretical concepts and insights turn tangible through pratical examples, cases and exercises. Such case studies present excellent opportunities to compare notes with faculty and fellow participants, offering different angles of analysis and refreshing options for action.
The sessions' conceptual approach allows you and your fellow participants to develop and integrate powerful models of analysis. Simultaneously you will be offered, or offer yourself, real-life examples to test these models against everyday management practice. This will enable you to integrate and implement various valuation methods in your company.
