Consortium Middle Management Programme

Best of Both Worlds

A consortium programme gathers groups of participants from a limited number of companies that are pursuing similar management development objectives. Partnering companies agree on the programme content and design, with elements of customization that allow each group to focus on their own organization. This format combines the advantages of open enrolment and company-specific programmes, and therefore offers equal payback for participants and their company.

Programme topics

The Consortium Middle Management Programme (CMMP) is intended to enhance the existing professional expertise of participants and provide them with a helicopter view of fundamental principles of business economics, strategy, business processes, supply chain, finance, marketing , people and change management, leadership and intercultural management, to help them contribute successfully to the strategy of their organization.

The Vlerick approach

  • Vlerick bridges theory and practice. The combination of multiple learning methods such as case study, role-play, team work and simulations, make it possible to increase the assimilation and retention of new skills and their transferability back to the workplace.
  • Highly experienced faculty – all leaders in their own field and with ample experience in interactive executive education – ensures state-of-the-art insight in a variety of topics;
  • The modular and residential character stimulates sharing of experience, networking and reflection. This also creates a more intense learning setting;
  • The programme is guided by a dedicated programme coordinator;
  • Participants have to work on a final project in groups. During this project they apply and integrate the learning and strategic insight they have gained. This exercise helps them to make the connection between their experiences at Vlerick and the reality of their work.
