The Advanced Management Programme is a training programme for senior managers
who have a sound basis in management and strategic experience and want to
enlarge their frame of reference with respect to expanding their
leadership role and enriching their strategic
thinking.

You are a manager with a sound basis in management and strategic
experience. You want the opportunity to expand your leadership role, increasing
your impact on the organisation's directions and the steps taken toward it.
Your level of managerial experience and the
specific challenges or needs you are facing at a particular

The Advanced Management Programme consists of nine 2-day residential
modules, spread over 13 months. The scheme gives an

The Vlerick approach
To ensure a practical and action-oriented approach, case studies are used as
the primary − but not exclusive − vehicle for teaching. You are challenged to
deal with real-life situations, apply the appropriate concepts and techniques,
decide upon a course of action, and discuss your recommendations in class,
allowing you to exchange experiences with peers and experts. To maximise
knowledge transfer and learning effects, participants are often required to
prepare a module before coming to class and, for some topics, a take-home
assignment is required.
