Change Management

Jean Van Hoegaerden

A successful manager must be able to lead and manage change – especially in today’s dynamic global business environment.

In this session, frameworks and tools for understanding processes in organisational and individual change will help you review your experiences and give perspective to future actions. We will focus on:

  • Understanding the challenges in implementing change in complex organisations using a simulation that’s fun!
  • Gaining deeper insight into what happens in a change process on both the rational and the emotional levels.
  • Applying your learning to individual and organisational change.

Jean Van Hoegaerden is a permanent member of the faculty of Ashridge Business School. He specialises in international management from several different angles: Leadership and Organisational Change, Cross Cultural Management and Globalisation. His special interest is linking the strategic aspects to the ‘softer’ areas in business. He consults to numerous firms in Europe, and has taught executive courses in North and Latin America, Europe, Singapore, South Africa, Australia and the Middle and Far East.

Inspiring leadership

Bizzarts

The dynamic business world will urge you to reinvent yourself as a leader. With this session, we want to challenge you regarding your leadership style and skills. An art-based learning process will shed new light on your leadership performance:

  • What is the essence of communication and leadership in your organisation?
  • How do you give, and cope with, feedback?
  • Which learnings from a completely different world can open your view on your own business?

BIZZARTS was born out of the conviction that art can make an important contribution to the business world, both economically and creatively. After an immersion in the artists’ creative process, managers find they can rethink their workflow in a more creative way. Bizzarts re-invests its income in the cultural world, so that artists become less dependent on sponsoring and government support. Art-based learning: unique, exclusive and extremely enriching! Luc Galoppin & Dominique Dejonghe take you on an inspiring and creative leadership trip!
