The meeting place for professionals looking for an integrated approach, content and networking on BPM, EPM, BI and ICT !

Each day we find ourselves confronted with a myriad of opportunities and threats for our organisation. Each of them seems to demand our immediate and undivided attention. Are your business processes agile and flexible enough to cope with this kind of turbulence? What you need is an integrated approach to Business Process Innovation.

This conference will use a blended method to tackle three complementary management disciplines:

  • Execution and improvement of your business processes through Business Process Management (BPM)
  • Selection and implementation of the necessary improvement initiatives through Enterprise Project Management (EPM)
  • Discovery of the right things to do through Business Intelligence (BI)
  • Governance of the ICT environment through an architectural approach
  • Delivering business value from ICT investment through Business/ICT alignment

Who should attend

This conference is a must for all business and IS/IT strategists, financial executives and HR professionals involved in process-based change and the establishment of process-managed organisations. Audiences include senior executives, operational managers, process, project and quality professionals, change managers, and business analysts from all sectors, including both profit and non-profit organisations. The presentations, case studies and round-table sessions have been carefully selected to offer a mutual learning experience for any professional background!

Conference programme - 26 October 2010

The link between BPM, EPM, BI & ICT can not be neglected. Therefore a blended programme is composed that offers you the possibility to customise your conference experience with 22 presentations in 4 parallel tracks. The broad domain of BPI topics is covered from different relevant perspectives in academic presentations, practitioner case studies, expert opinions and round-table discussion sessions. The blended approach enables you to optimally benefit from the integrating power of BPM, EPM, BI and ICT. A broad selection of different kinds of presentations is embedded in the conference programme:

  • Keynote presentations: The conference programme starts and closes with a plenary session by two thought leaders in the domain of Business Process Innovation.
  • Practitioner case studies: Practitioners with broad expertise in business process management, enterprise project management and business intelligence will share real-life examples and case studies from their daily practice.
  • Round-table sessions: In an interactive setting participants get the opportunity to share their own experience with others and to brainstorm on new opportunities for the future. These sessions are facilitated by Vlerick faculty.
  • Academic presentations: Professors and researchers from various academic institutes will report on their academically sound and yet highly relevant management research, showing the newest trends and issues for the practitioner’s community.
