Why this programme
- Broaden your outlook. This programme offers a structural, conceptual and practical background that is required for radical thinking and for improving the overall supply chain.
- Practical value. Both strategic and operational issues related to structuring and managing the entire supply chain will be discussed, including the change process. In this way, the company’s objectives (e.g. providing customer service at a lower total cost) can be achieved.
- The Vlerick education approach. A range of strategic options, areas of action, tools and techniques will be discussed in a detailed but practical way, keeping in mind the forces that are driving the re-design of the total supply chain. The focus will be on successfully implementing and/or optimising a total supply chain, keeping the possible pitfalls in mind. This will be illustrated by exercises, case studies, testimonials, plant visits, business games, and practical expertise.
- High-level teachers. More than 70% of all sessions are taught by academics with strong experience in business. Other input comes from high-level executives or researchers. Next to our own Supply Chain professors, we look for the best teachers in the world to share their expertise in their area of competence.
- Individual evaluation. In order to monitor your personal progress, many feedback moments are planned throughout the year. In team assignments you will discuss, evaluate and be evaluated by your peers. A formal evaluation consists of three exam cases and an in-company project.
- Enhance your expert network. The classrooms with fellow participants and teachers are fertile grounds for inspiring discussions. Moreover, all Master Class participants are invited for all six Supply Chain Forums and for the Supply Chain Conference (edition 2011) for free.
