Masters distance assessments
Application deadlines for distance assessment
- EU nationals: 30 June 2010
- non-EU nationals: 31 March 2010
Please note: this is an advisory date as we accept applications on a rolling basis. We do however advise you to apply as early as possible to leave you with enough time to apply for a visa (visa applications take around two months to be processed) and arrange your travel to Belgium.
The distance assessment requires the following items:
A promising GMAT score
- We require a promising GMAT score. Although Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School does not observe a strict minimum, admission with a GMAT score below 550 is unlikely.
- General information on GMAT fees and test procedures can be found at: www.mba.com. When taking the test, remember to quote the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School GMAT code: HF4-PH-08.
A promising TOEFL or IELTS score
- All applicants are requested to take the TOEFL, except for native English speakers and applicants who have completed their entire undergraduate education in English.
- We require a TOEFL score of 100 (Internet-based) or 600 (paper-based) or a IELTS score (minimum band 6).
- General information on TOEFL or IELTS fees and test procedures can be found at: www.toefl.org or www.ielts.org. Remember to quote the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School TOEFL code: 7176.
A motivation essay
- We evaluate your motivation based on your own statements on the application form and in some cases interviews.
A completed application form
In order to evaluate your application, we ask you to submit a
completed application form + a non-refundable payment of the
application fee (50 euro).
Please understand that your file is not considered complete until we have
received all necessary documents, including:
- a copy of your university diploma(s) and transcripts
- your CV
- a copy of your ID
