Vlerick MBA Loan scheme
Vlerick Leuven Ghent Management School is pleased to announce an innovative new loan scheme aimed at candidates for its full-time MBA programme.
What can you expect of this loan scheme to finance your MBA?
- You will be able to apply after you have been accepted to study the Vlerick Full-time MBA
- The size of your loan is limited to 75% of tuition or €20625
- Typical APR based on the current base rate is approximately 6%
- No payments required during your studies and up to 6 months after you have completed your studies
- You will have up to 7 years to settle the debt

Other Funding
Otherwise study loans are available from many sources to help you to fund your MBA studies:
- Belgium: loan arrangements have been made with KBC Bank to provide funding for Vlerick MBA studies.
- United Kingdom: HSBC provide financing for those taking the Vlerick MBA (under the AMBA accredited programmes loan scheme) for those who may return to the UK on graduation.
It is advantageous to apply to your existing banking organisation as they have your credit history and can best assess your creditworthiness. You will also have access to guarantors in your existing location. Knowledge of your credit history and the availability of a guarantee should reduce the rate of interest you will be expected to pay on loan funding.
Scholarship Programmes.
Since July 2008 Vlerick has arranged a unique series of corporate funded scholarships aimed at assisting “the best and the brightest” to pursue their Vlerick MBA.
The following scholarships will be awarded to students graduating in 2011 providing up to 50 % tuition waiver:

Consult
Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School, in association with MBA Consult , are glad to offer scholarships to self-funded Russian nationals who are resident in Russia.
Programme: Full-time MBA
Value: 28,500 Euro towards the tuition fees
Number of awards: 4
Scholarship details: It is either merit- or need-based.
Merit-based Scholarships are purely financial awards made by Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School to help exceptional students meet their educational expenses. A good candidate in terms of experience and education and ambition but who has had a low salary for some years may get a need based scholarship.
