Alexander Yanchevsky is Emeritus Professor and Director of the International School of Management, St.Petersburg. His recent teaching, research and consulting activities include the following subjects: business modeling and decision methods, project management, and management of change.
He obtained his degrees in Systems Science from St. Petersburg Electro-Technical University. He was visiting research fellow at Systems' Theory Lab of Helsinki University of Technology (1980-1981), University of California at Davis, (1985), University of Wisconsin at Madison (1985). He was prorector of St.Petersburg Electrotechnical University "LETI" (1985-1995).
He is a project director at the Center for Strategic Research "North-West", a member of the board of the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management (EIASM), and a number of other academic and business advisory boards. He was lecturer and leader of European Seminars of the "Productivity Initiative Program" of the European Union (1995-1999, Belgium), led other executive management development programmes and management consulting projects.
