Eva Cools earned a KU Leuven master degree in Pedagogical Sciences (2000) and graduated as a Doctor in Applied Economics at Ghent University (2007). She currently is the research manager of Vlerick Business School. Within this role, Eva is responsible for implementing Vlerick’s research strategy, which aims for rigorous and relevant research with impact on a broad range of stakeholders. Her own research focuses on cognitive styles, person-environment fit, entrepreneurship and management education. She is co-editor of a Routledge book on cognitive styles and published her work in management, education as well as psychology journals. Eva was the academic leader of the 13th Education, Learning, Styles, Individual differences Network (ELSIN) conference in Ghent, Belgium.
