Heike Bruch


Professor Dr Heike Bruch is a Professor of Leadership and Director at the Institute for Leadership and Human Resources Management at the University of St. Gallen. She worked at the London Business School for several years, first as a Visiting Scholar, and later as a Senior Research Fellow in Strategic Leadership. Prior to these appointments, she was a Research Director and a Lecturer at the University of St.Gallen in Switzerland; a Lecturer at the University of Hanover in Germany, where she also completed her doctorate in 1996; and a student at the Free University of Berlin, where she obtained her degree in Business Administration in 1991. Her research has a strong leadership focus. The focal points of her more recent research work are organizational energy, leadership in change processes and managers’ emotion, volition, and action.
