Katre Leino is from Estonia, but has spent a large part of her life abroad. She completed her BSc in Environmental Economics and Environmental Management at the University of York, and a MSc course in Nature, Society and Environmental Policy at the University of Oxford. Her interdisciplinary studies deepened her interest in the interactions between industry and the environment, causing her to focus on related topics in her current research. She is a Marie Curie Early Stage Research Fellow and part of an international research group ‘I4S – Innovation for Sustainability’, which is funded by the EU FP7 program.
