Smaranda Boros

Her expertise is built on three pillars:

  • as a professor, she conducts research, consults in organizations and teaches executive seminars on several leadership, cross-cultural and diversity management topics, such as conflict management in diverse teams (with a focus on intercultural conflict management techniques), social and emotional cultural adaptation, the human side of global business (e.g., leading global teams), managing virtual teams; change, power and influence in multicultural settings;
  • as an executive intercultural coach, she has a rich and eclectic background, holding diplomas in cognitive-behavioural interventions, group coaching, psychodynamic interventions and open systems approach;
  • most importantly, she practices what she preaches in her own personal and professional journey, having worked and lived in six countries so far, and having coached and trained executives in Europe, the Americas and Asia for more than a decade.

This triple expertise provides both the knowledge and the skills, and even more critically, the understanding and empathy to work with other international sojourners and global managers and provide support and guidance in their personal and professional development.
