Target Group

The Centre for Excellence in Supply Chain Management focuses on companies who value research that contributes to fundamental academic knowledge, as well as practice-based research that draws upon the findings of core academic knowledge. In doing so, we gain new insights in the field of supply chain management and we develop tools that can be applied in a real business environment. The people representing these organisations are supply chain and operations managers and/or process managers. The representatives have a strategic rather than an operational profile. In order to maintain the existing openness, the Centre for Excellence in Supply Chain Management emphasises the importance of having permanent representatives per company.

Chair

Chairs represent a one-to-one relationship between a faculty member and a supporting company. Corporations that support a Chair contribute to the long-term creation of knowledge in a specific area of expertise within the broader context of supply chain management.
