The Retail & Trade Marketing Research Centre doesn't have fixed members but is working together on an ad hoc basis with both individual as well as groups of companies.

In the past we have worked for (a.o.) ABInbev, Akzo-Nobel, Belgacom, Brantano, Carrefour, Colruyt (Group), Coca-Cola, Delhaize (Group), Macintosh Retail Group, Makro, Media Markt/Saturn, Mexx, Panasonic, ...

The most important activities are:

  • Custom & multiclient research on retail management, retail marketing, e-commerce, cross-channel & omnichannel, shopper marketing, path-to-purchase & shopping behaviour, in-store marketing, ... The Retail & Trade Marketing Research Centre is working for retailers as well as branded goods manufacturers.
  • Custom specific executive education on retail management, shopper marketing, e-commerce and trade marketing.
  • Workshops where the focus is more on problem solving; in the broad domain of retail management, shopper marketing and trade marketing.
  • Round tables: groups of non-competing retailers or suppliers come together to develop knowledge around a specific team. They are based on research and/or the exchange of experiences during workshops. We have ran such round tables on "dealing with owner-managed distributors", "trade marketing in food," and "integrating the internet in your marketing strategy".

The Retail & Trade Marketing Research Centre is also spreading its expertise by means of open enrolment executive education programmes, conferences and network activities.
