How can I dub a VHS cassette?

1. Preparation

You need two VCRs. If you want to be sure everything works, you can use a camera as a display.

 

The setting

 

  1. Connect the two VCRs with scart cable. Choose which VCR is the source / destination. In this setting the VCR at the bottom is the source and the other one is the destination.

 

  1. You have to check if the scart channel of the destination VCR is set up. In this setting we use scart 2.

 

  1. The next step is connecting the destination VCR to the camera, so you have to use a 'scart to RCA' cable and the RCA cable which you can find in the bag of the camera.  Use 3 connecting-pieces to connect the cables together.

 

The dub

         

When you start the source VCR, you can see your movie on the display of your camera.   

Set your movie at the right point, push 'Start' en push 'Rec' on your destination VCR.
