How do I set permissions on my calendar?

  1. Read access to everyone (mandatory setting)
  2. Allow someone else to update your calendar

1. Read access to everyone (mandatory setting)

  1. Start Outlook (icon on the desktop).
  2. Click on Calendar (bottom right).
  3. Right-click on the folder 'Calendar' (to the left, under the header "my calendars) and choose 'Properties'.
  4. Choose the tab 'Permissions'.
  5. Set following settings:



    Be sure this is the only name specified and the role is set to reviewer.

Note:

This setting is mandatory. You can mark appointments as private if needed.

2. Allow someone else to update your calendar

  1. Start Outlook (icon on the desktop).
  2. Right-click on the folder 'Calendar' en choose 'Properties'.
  3. Choose the tab 'Permissions'.
  4. Set following settings:



    Click 'Add' to add a user to the list. Specify permission level 'Editor' to give the user permissions to update, delete and create items in you calendar.
