We live in a 3D world, characterised by disruption, data and digitisation. It is a world full of innovation opportunities, and full of incumbent traps. How do we leverage our people to drive innovation forward? Beyond individual creativity, companies need to develop innovation as an organisational capability. Do we nurture the explorers as much as we nurture the exploiters? Do we create opportunities for innovation with small “i” and Innovation with a big “I”? One thing is for sure. To survive, learning is a constant, and unlearning a necessity. And while algorithms may increasingly take over business processes and customer interactions, human skills have never been more needed.

Stephane will highlight the key developments that will shape the economic and business context at the time of the HR day and beyond, and share a focus on the “so what?”, which means the consequences for companies, markets and people. He will look at the “people” aspect and especially the management competencies and the personal skills needed to succeed in this new world. In other words, “the mindset of competitiveness”.
