Herman Van den Broeck

Herman studeerde aan de Lancaster University (UK) in het kader van zijn doctoraal proefschrift. Als pedagoog en psycholoog intrigeert menselijk gedrag hem uitermate. Hij was houder van de Belgacom leerstoel ‘Organisations that last’. Hoe leerprocessen in de toekomst zullen verlopen, is één van de vragen waar hij in de nabije toekomst antwoord op wil geven. Rabobank, J&J, Le Pain Quotidien, SWIFT, KBC … zijn voorbeelden van bedrijven waar hij recent mee werkte. Zuid-Afrika is één van zijn lievelingsplaatsen om les te geven.

Herman Van den Broeck is doctor in de Pedagogische en Psychologische Wetenschappen en partner van Vlerick Business School. Hij is professor aan de faculteit Economie en Bedrijfskunde aan Universiteit Gent. Hij studeerde onder meer aan de Lancaster University, U.K. Zijn interessegebieden zijn cognitieve stijlen, sociale en emotionele intelligentie en leiderschap. Zijn laatste boek (samen met David Venter) Beyonders. Transcending Average Leadership geeft een uitstekend beeld weer van zijn werk.
