In 2013, behaalde Iris een Master in Business Engineering in Management Information Systems (University of Antwerp). Ze heeft enkele opleidingen gevolgd aan University College of London (UCL) en City University of Hong Kong. Momenteel werkt Iris als onderzoeker in de afdeling Consumer Marketing, Retail en Branding bij de Vlerick Business School.
