Koen Dewettinck

Koen behaalde zijn Master in Organisatiepsychologie en zijn doctoraat in de Toegepaste Economische Wetenschappen aan de Universiteit van Gent. Hij behaalde een doctoraatsbeurs aan het Interuniversitair College voor Managementwetenschappen en was visiting PhD student aan de Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University. Momenteel is hij partner en professor in HRM aan Vlerick Business School. Als academisch directeur is hij verantwoordelijk voor de Executive MBA programma’s in Gent en Leuven.

Onderzoeksmatig focust Koen op strategisch HRM en prestatiemanagement. Rond die domeinen heeft hij een aantal boeken geschreven en gepubliceerd in wetenschappelijke vakbladen zoals onder andere International Journal of HRM, HRM Review, Personnel Review, Employee Relations en European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology.

Hij is directeur van CEPP, het Centre for Excellence in People Performance, een samenwerkingsverband met een aantal organisaties rond het creëren van een motiverend en prestatieverhogend klimaat. Zijn onderzoeks-, begeleidings-, en lesactiviteiten richten zich op motivatieprocessen, performance management, en strategisch HRM. Een aantal van de organisaties waarmee Koen samenwerkte zijn AG Insurance, Atlas-Copco, Attentia, BNP Paribas Fortis, Bostik, Christelijke Mutualiteiten, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Hudson, Mobistar, ING, Randstad, Roche, VITO en de Vlaamse en Belgische overheidsdiensten. Als lesgever is Koen actief op MBA- én executive education-niveau, zowel in Europa, de Verenigde Staten, Azië als Afrika.

Profiel

Koen behaalde zijn Master in Organisatiepsychologie en zijn doctoraat in de Toegepaste Economische Wetenschappen aan de Universiteit van Gent. Als academisch directeur is hij binnen de school verantwoordelijk voor de Executive MBA-programma’s in Gent en Leuven. Hij is een veelgevraagd lesgever in binnen en buitenland over HRM, prestatiemanagement en people management.
