Mario Vanhoucke

Mario is gepassioneerd door alles wat te maken heeft met projectplanning, risicoanalyse en projectopvolging, waarbij hij continu op zoek is naar methodes om de projectperformantie en het bijbehorende hulpmiddelengebruik te meten, verbeteren en optimaliseren. Hij maakt gebruik van technieken uit het operationeel onderzoek en integreert het onderzoek met praktijkrelevantie op de jaarlijkse conferentie georganiseerd door EVM Europe (www.evm-europe.eu), in samenwerking met PMI (www.pmi.org).

Als stichter van de 'Operations Research & Scheduling' onderzoeksgroep en als leider van een geïntegreerd onderzoeksproject (> 1 miljoen euro) streeft hij voortdurend naar samenwerking met nationale en internationale bedrijven, vaak met medewerking van PMI Belgium.

Mario ontwikkelt zijn eigen PM-softwarepakketten die kunnen geïntegreerd worden in een ruimere bedrijfssoftware-infrastructuur. Mario deelt zijn PM-ideeën tijdens de EVM Europe conferentie en op zijn blog die u kunt volgen via Twitter (@MarioVanhoucke of @ORASTalks).
