Prof Dr Bart Clarysse is Doctor in Applied Economics, Ghent University (1996). He was a visiting fellow at Sloan School of Management, MIT during 1994-1995. Since 1997, he is a professor at Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School and at Ghent University, where he teaches classes on innovation and technology management. Since October 2007 he is also professor in entrepreneurship at Imperial College London (Tanaka Business School). From 1996 to 1999 he acted as a national expert for the European Commission regarding the Commission's technology policy. Since 1998, he is a scientific advisor for the IWT in topics regarding the Flemish innovation and technology policy.
