Jamsheed Shorish

Adjunct Professor of Finance

Jamsheed is CEO and Founder of Shorish Research, which helps businesses to apply disruptive technologies. He’s also a Senior Research Scientist at Block Science, specialising in complex systems engineering, R&D and analysis.

He previously worked in science management at COST. As an economist and professor, he carries out frontier research on microeconomics, general equilibrium theory, computational economics, social networks and asset pricing.

His interests include developing and furthering standards for the socio-economic engineering of complex systems. He also focuses on refining economic and financial techniques that have been influenced by behavioural economics and network analysis. He uses large-scale numerical computation to achieve this.
