Margot Callewaert

Doctoral Researcher, Innovation

Margot Callewaert is a Doctoral Researcher at the Technology & Operations Management Area at Vlerick, and the Department of Management, Strategy and Innovation (MSI) at KU Leuven.

She uses AI technology to analyse the design of licensing contracts in the biopharmaceutical industry. These contracts play a vital role, and their design has a profound effect on an organisation’s financial performance and their ability to collaborate with other organisations. Her research paves the way for developing a tractable, metrics-based approach to designing technology licensing contracts.

As well as pursuing her PhD, Margot tutors innovation management on our Online MBA – and strategic management of technology on our Masters in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
