Tim Van Hauwermeiren is a life sciences entrepreneur with a broad management skillset that spans corporate strategy, finance, marketing, R&D operations, deal making and intellectual property. He specialises in strategy formulation and implementation, business development and licensing, new venture financing, negotiation, organisational design and board performance.
Tim is co-founder and CEO of argenx, one of Europe’s most successful biotech companies.
Before becoming an entrepreneur, Tim spent five years as a senior business development executive at Ablynx and held several management positions at Procter & Gamble in R&D and Corporate New Business Development. He is currently an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Vlerick Entrepreneurship Academy.
