Q. What is a Vlerick alumnus?
 
A student who obtained a diploma or certificate for one of the long-term management programmes of Vlerick Business School.

Take a look at the overview of the long-term management programmes at Vlerick Business School. Only if you have followed one of those, you are a Vlerick alumnus.

A. You're a Vlerick alumnus or alumnus-in-waiting:

  • Click in the left upper corner on "Sign In".
    Through your "MyVlerick" account, you can manage your alumni profile.

    Forgot your login for your MyVlerick account? Please contact servicedesk@vlerick.com or via + 32 9 210 97 24 during business hours.

B. You are NOT an alumnus and have never signed into the Vlerick website:

  1. Create a new MyVlerick profile by clicking on "Register" in the left upper corner:

  2. Fill out the form and click on "Register your MyVlerick account"

Q. How can I recover my password?                                                                     ↑ BACK TO TOP

  1. Sign in via the button in the upper left-hand corner of your screen:

  2. Click on "Forgot password?":

  3. Fill out your login (which is an e-mail address):

  4. You will receive a recovery link via e-mail within minutes which allows you to reset your password

  • Your MyVlerick login is linked to an e-mail address
     
  • Please note that alumni(-in-waiting) with an @edu.vlerick.com login e-mail address cannot change this to another e-mail address  

  • If this e-mail address is no longer valid or if you want to change your login (e-mail address), please contact servicedesk@vlerick.com or via +32 9 210 97 24 during business hours.

  1. Sign in via the button in upper left-hand corner of your screen:

  2. Go to your MyVlerick profile via the button in the upper left-hand corner of your screen:

  3. Edit your personal information by clicking on the tab "Personal Information".
        Don't forget to save your changes!

  4. Edit your professional information by clicking on the tab "Professional Life":

    • Select your Main function:

    • Add a new professional role or delete one:

  5. Decide which contact details you want to share with (or hide from) your fellow alumni:

    • Click on the tab "Alumni Information":

    • Select which contact details you want to share with (or hide from) your fellow alumni:

  6. Take a look at your Public Profile, in order to see which information you are sharing with your fellow alumni. In order to do so, you need to be signed in. You can access your public profile by clicking on:

    • "Public Profile" in the upper left-hand corner of your screen
    • Or the tab "View my public alumni profile" in your MyVlerick profile

Q. How can I update my profile picture?                                                                     ↑ BACK TO TOP

 
1.    Send a professional picture as a jpg-file with a minimum resolution of 78 kb to alumni@vlerick.com
 
2.    We will upload this picture asap on your profile (pictures are uploaded monthly ).


Q. How can I search through the database?
 
Only paying members of Vlerick Alumni have access to - among other things - the database search tool.
 
1.    Go to our Alumni Database Search
 
2.    If you're not logged in, fill in your login and password
 
3.    Fill out or change your search criteria.

Q. How can I subscribe myself to an event?

Always check your contact details in your profile and adjust if necessary before subscribing for an event.

  1. Click on the tab ‘Events' in the left-hand upper corner or click here for an overview of all alumni events

  2. Choose 'Alumni Events' as Category and click on the button  'Filter Events >'

  3. Scroll through the events list and click on the event(s) of your choice
  4. You need to be signed in, aftwards click on "Enroll" (in right-hand column)
  5.  Select your pricing option for the event
  6. Fill out your e-mail address to which the confirmation e-mail will be sent
  7.  Select your jobtitle for the event
  8. Fill out your invoice details
  9. Tick off the event cancellation policy box
  10. Click on ‘Submit’ and you will receive a confirmation for your registration within minutes. If not, please contact us on alumni@vlerick.com 
     

 

Q. How can I unsubscribe to an event?

  1. Send an email to alumni@vlerick.com
     
    2. Clearly indicate you want to cancel your registration for a specific event
     
    3. We will confirm your cancellation 
       

 

Q. Can I subscribe someone else for an event?
 
Some of our events are also accessible for third parties

  • Third parties (= non-Vlerick alumni) can register themselves after creating a "MyVlerick" account:

    1. Click on "Register" in the left upper corner:

    2. Fill out the form and click on "Register your MyVlerick account"

  • If you want to register someone else in their stead for an event, please follow the steps below:
     
    1.    Send an email to alumni@vlerick.com
     
    2.    Indicate the following information of the participant:
    • Name and date of the event
    • Last name
    • First name
    • Company
    • Function
    • E-mail address
    • Company address

 

 
Q. Where can I see the event pictures ?
 
Choose one of the following options:

 

In case the event pictures you are looking for are not listed, it means there are no photos available.

 


 

 
Q. Where can I ask for an invoice for an event?
 
Send an email to alumni@vlerick.com with the following information: 

  • Event name and date
  • Participant details: last name, first name, company name and function, email address
  • Invoice details: company name, company address, invoice email address

Q. How can I book a meeting room?
 
Gold and Platinum members of Vlerick Alumni can book a meeting room for meetings, brainstorming sessions, workshops, seminars and other events at the Ghent and Leuven campus. Our meeting spaces are equipped with every possible facility (flip chart, wireless internet, beamer, etc.) and catering can be ordered separately.

 

  1. Send an e-mail to alumni@vlerick.com or contact us on +32 9 210 98 18.
     
    2. Mention date, hours and the number of people.
     
    3. To confirm your booking, a confirmation e-mail will be sent with a catering form.
    (Your booking is only valid after confirmation)

 

The rooms can be booked from 8 am till 11 pm on week days (except bank holidays or closing periods of Vlerick Business School).
